New Release: Estelle Joanna

I was SO excited when Anna contacted me to have photos taken of her adorable new little one. I had the privilege of telling Joe & Anna's {Fairy Tale} in March of 2012 {click here} and was more then happy to find out they were going to have a baby this April! 

Estelle is ADORABLE! She has such beautiful blue eyes and was just a happy, and very content, camper the entire time I was taking photos of her. (Ok... she wasn't the happiest at the very end... she was ready to sleep) Anyways, here is this beautiful baby girl I've been yacking about. Congratulations again Anna & Joe!

Confessions of a Photographer: I love to doodle...

I love to doodle. I doodle all the time. I doodle during staff meetings... I doodle during church... I doodle when I'm sitting and there is a paper and pen in front of me. I don't doodle because I am distracted or anything, it actually helps me think and focus on what is going on. I am applying myself to something and therefore my brain is actually processing more. From what I understand this is called 'kinesthetic' learning, but don't quote me on that.

Anyways, there are plenty of photos and cards I've seen with the cute overlays of hand drawn things, and I've wanted to have that myself. I'm in no way a professional drawer... nor do I even claim to be a good drawer... I am a DOODLER. And although my father is like the KING of doodling (seriously... I've wanted to frame some of his work note doodles) I am just a simple 'draw yourself a flower' kind of gal. But I love the look of hand written or drawn items placed over photos.

So I messed around some with a new app on my iPad called iFontMaker {click here} and I am definitely having fun! The app is actually to create your own font... but I used it to make overlay shapes for photos and whatnot. It was my first time and I worked on it for just a little while... but here are a few pictures I put together with the "letters" I came up with! All the little doodles and extras were made using the app. And please remember I just threw these together... I literally spend about 10 minutes on the four of these photos.

New Release: Grace {4 Months}

Are you ready to see an ADORABLE little girl?!

Look no further... here is Grace... and she is such a smiley little one! I grew up with Josh and when I saw on Facebook that he & Tiffany had this little bundle of cuteness I was so excited for them! And I was really excited when they contacted me about telling her story! And I hope that I get to tell more of their story in the future.

I can't help but smile when I look at these photos! But don't just take my word for it... tell me if you don't break into a grin while looking at these.

New Release: Bentley {3 Months}

Bentley is 3 months old! Yay! He is so adorable. I've been so privileged to tell the story of this family... From Davey & Dell's engagement 3 years ago until now, and I look forward to continue telling their ongoing story!

Anyways, back to Bentley... he is just so cute and getting big so fast! So, here is a few from our quick little shoot! Prepare to do lots of smiling...

New Release: Wyatt

Oh my goodness, I feel so privileged to have had the opportunity to be photographing so many new little ones this year! And they are all just so adorable!! 

Here is Wyatt... and he is just a sweet little blonde haired baby! He wasn't the biggest fan of having his photos taken and refused to stay milk drunk. He just wanted to be a part of the party, so I just took pictures of him with his beautiful little blue eyes open. 

The BEAUTIFUL blue knit blanket was made special for him by one of his aunties! How special is that?

New Release: Alayna Jesse

This post is especially close to my heart... since it is one of our own! Our photographer, Natasha, and her husband, David, had their sweet little Alayna on February 5th at 1 am. 

This family is just so precious, and such a blessing to my husband and me. Their little boys are just two of the funniest and sweetest little guys, and they are SO excited to have a baby sister!
